Maintenance Services Interstate offers other non-collection and pre-collection services that "maintain" your accounts without the need for full collection efforts.
Interstate offers related value added service. Pre-Collection Services Interstate's pre-collection services are designed to prompt payment on accounts not yet considered delinquent. Your clients receive correspondence from Interstate Centralized Billing Services, Inc. ("ICB Services"), a subsidiary billing company of Interstate Collection Bureau, Inc. These correspondences and contacts are designed to prompt payment without the need for turning your clients over to full collection efforts. Pre-collection prompts payment without full collection efforts. Collection Services Accounts placed with Interstate are entered into our system and confirmed. An introductory notice is sent, and a telephone contact is attempted to confirm information and address any questions. Additional calls and letters are attempted, all within state and federal collection guidelines. Delinquent accounts may be reported to the major credit bureaus at your direction. All collection efforts are courteous and professional, yet consistent and unwavering. Our collection staff is trained in telephone techniques, applicable law, and negotiation to allow an informative, positive resolution to your bad debt situations. We accept payments via Mastercard, Visa, and checks by phone. |
